Lesson 8: Church History

The book of Acts describes the “acts” of the early church. Basically, what Jesus’ followers did after his resurrection. In this book we see not only how the idea of gathering for church service and Bible study began, but also how the body of believers loved and supported each other. Jesus himself said that “everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” This book reminds us that “acts” of love and unselfishness are how we can share Christ’s love with the world.
